Managed and financed by Monifieth Local History Society, whose volunteers keep it open free of charge daily, it is very much a Community project. The support and encouragement given by the local residents keeps the project viable. However, with success comes an increase in the workload
Believe it or not they appear to enjoy not only being able to provide a service for the community, they enjoy meeting interesting people who visit daily. Friendships have developed within the group. There are no special skills required so why not ‘get round to it.
