Hi there, I enjoy reading through your article. I wanted to write a little comment to support you.
My grandfather, great grandfather, great grandmother lived in Monifieth until moving to United States in 1907. I have many photos and stories of Montifieth.
In 2011 I visited the museum and talked with several members, was given an email. After returning home I have tried to contact the museum without luck.
I am again traveling spring of 2016 to Scotland. I will bring several copies of photos to the museum if they would like. My great grandfather owned a grocery on High Street, first in partnership with Mr. Dick then solely owned it after Mr. Dick moved to Canada. Mr. Dick returned to Monifieth and the story continues.
My family rented India Cottage on Ramsey before purchasing Bayview.
Hopefully awaiting your reply,
